Dell and HP are bidding to buy 3PAR, a world data-storage leader going-to-be with its "virtualization" technology.
3PAR cuts hardware and energy costs for data storage by using "virtualization" technology, which squeezes maximum performance from machines.
"3PAR has consistently provided customers with the ability to do more with less," said 3PAR chief executive David Scott. (CNA)
Dell start with S$1.15 billion, as the deal is closing, HP made an offer of S$1.6 billion (1/3 more than dell).
Now the company 3PAR is giving Dell 72hours to outbid HP before she decide to accept HP's more superior offer.
Dell is said to be preparing to counter-bid HP. More details are yet to be released.
This is becoming interesting.. will this become a bidding world among the 2 superpowers in the personal computer industry? will this transaction be value for the cost for the one who win the bid? I wonder what will happen next...
